Things are not always what they seem…

 

A bowl or a mushroom? A megaphone or a volcano? From one page to the next, Flavia Ruotolo transforms something mundane into an extraordinary visual adventure. On the left page, an object or item from everyday life, and on the right, that same item presented differently, as part of a new story, full of adventure and fantasy.
A kind of workshop for the imagination, and an exciting graphic invitation in orange and blue, to look at things from a different perspective, reminiscent of French surrealist author Paul Eluard’s famous words: “The Earth is Blue like an Orange.”
