Thomas Baas

A graduate from Strasbourg’s Decorative Arts, Thomas Baas is both an illustrator and a poster artist. His work is inspired by the tradition of the great alsacian illustrators: the Doré, Hansi, Tomi Ungerer… But he knew how to develop his own timeless universe, with soft characters, slightly retro and often funny. He illustrated the series Picolophilo (Albin Michel, 2014), the album Dans l’atelier des artistes (Actes Sud Junior, 2019) and the novel Robêêrt memories of an extraordinary sheep written by Jean-Luc Fromental (hélium, 2017).

But above all, at helium, he has committed the spectacular THE EVEN DAYS, A book to read every other day, however you want (2017) which bring together 179 stories by Vincent Cuvelier, and so many illustrations!
